European Union Foreign ministers are reportedly agreed to impose sanctions against Iranian nationals over alleged assassinations in Denmark and France, Reuters reported on Monday.

No individual names have so far been revealed on the list of sanctions, but general agreement has reportedly been made to practically confront the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET) announced earlier that its forces in collaboration with Swedish and Norwegian police arrested an Iranian agent, who was planning to carry out political assassinations in Denmark, Danish local media reported at that time.

According to the Scandinavian media the agent in custody is reportedly Norwegian citizen with Iranian origin, who was planning to assassinate several Iranian Arab activists live in Denmark.

Iran has also accused by France and Netherland in previous separate cases for carrying out assassination in their soil.
