New rounds of rockets fired at a joint military base of US, UK and other foreign bases North of Baghdad on Saturday, Local and US security forces confirmed to AP.

The Taji base was also under attack last week. Two American military personnel and one British soldier were killed in those attacks.

According to a report by Daily Mail, the new attack was 23rd such attacks on US and foreign troops in Iraq since October.

Iraqi security forces told AP that several rockets were fired at the Taji base today. "The initial toll is two wounded Iraqi Air Defence personnel who are in very critical condition," said Tahsin al-Khafaji, spokesman for Iraq's Joint Operations Command.

So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but Washington blamed Iran-backed Shiite militias of Hashd al-Shaabi and launched heavy attacks on their bases in border areas.

Iraqi Presidnet Barham Saleh has condemned these attacks inside Iraqi soil.
