On Sunday, April 7, 2024, intelligence agents of IRGC raided the house of Dr. Luqman Qanbri in Sarpeli Zahaw and arrested this Kurdish writer and transferred him to the Revolutionary Guards intelligence prison.

According to a report received by Avatoday, the intelligence agents of IRGC have detained Dr. Luqman Qanbari in solitary confinement for 40 hours.

"For nearly 40 hours, Dr. Luqman was under pressure, threats and mental torture and was interrogated for hours," the source told Avatoday.

The intelligence of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has accused Dr. Luqman Ghanbari of connection with Israel. Also, due to the translation of the book "Kurds in Iran", he has been accused of spreading ideas related to the independence of Kurdistan among the youth.
