Top 100 families who rule Iran

Some one hundred families who are at the same time relatives and have close bond are ruling Iran under the name of Islamic Republic of Iran.

Avatoday publishes the family relations between some of the Islamic Republic’s top officials. 

Serajadin Mirdamadi, a high-ranking official of reformist fraction known as Eslahat, is the son of Hussein Mirdamadi, who is Ali Khamenei’s uncle.

Mostafa Khamenei, son of Ali Khamenei is the son-in-law of Ayatollah Khoshvaght, member of Chain murders’ committee and also a member of Cultural Revolution Consul.

Mojtaba Khamenei, another son of Ali Khamenei, is the son-in-law of Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel, former chairman of Iranian Parliament and current head of the Iranian Academy of Persian Language and Literature.

Boshra Khamenei, the daughter of Ali Khamenei, is the daughter-in-law of Mohammad Mohammadi Golpayegani, head of Khamenei's office.

Hoda Khamenei, another daughter of Ali Khamenei, is daughter-in-law of Mohammad Baqer Baqeri Kani, member of Islamic Republic’s Assembly of Experts.

There are hundreds of other close relations among Islamic Republic’s top authorities.
