Iranian border guards kill another Kolbar

AVA TODAY, Erbil – Iranian border guards shot a group of border carriers known as Kolbar on Tuesday and killed Ebrahim Soleymani in Kani Zard border point between Iraqi Kurdistan and Iranian Kurdistan.

45-years-old Soleymani was shot and wounded at two o’clock in the morning in Kani Zard border point,” a source told Ava today “but we were not able to find him as we ran away.”

The source continued that as they went to search for Soleymani next morning, they found the body at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon.

When we found the body, he (Soleymani) was dead because he lost too much blood,” the source added.

According to the Democracy Center for Human Rights in Kurdistan, as many as 30 Kolbars have been killed and wounded by the frontier guards since the beginning of 2018.
