The Islamic Association of Students at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Tabriz, announced that Dr. Ribin Moloudi, a dentist and a 2007-entry graduate of the faculty, was arrested on January 31, 2026, in Oshnavieh, outside his private clinic, by forces of the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He was immediately transferred to an undisclosed location, and more than 12 days later, no information has been made available regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, his place of detention, or his current condition.
Dr. Moloudi’s last contact with his relatives was a few days ago, and since then, no further information about him has emerged.
In a related development, on February 11, 2026, Ali Nazarzadeh, a 26-year-old Kurdish citizen from Abdanan, Ilam Province, was arrested by the Intelligence Organization and transferred to an unknown location.
According to received information, security forces detained him without presenting a judicial warrant.
