Amid the continuing arrests of Kurdish citizens in Bukan, three women identified as Homayra Aminpour, Shiler Aminpour, and Monireh Khoshnoud were arrested in recent days by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to reports by human rights organizations, agents of the Intelligence Department in Bukan raided the home of Homayra and Shiler Aminpour on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, and arrested the two sisters without presenting a judicial warrant. The agents also confiscated some of their personal belongings.

In a similar incident, Monireh Khoshnoud, a 58-year-old resident of Bukan, was arrested on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, after security forces entered her family home.

It has been reported that the agents searched the house and seized items including her mobile phone, laptop, and several personal books.

Informed sources stated that the families of the three women have so far been unable to obtain precise information regarding their place of detention, health condition, or the charges brought against them.

Monireh Khoshnoud had previously been arrested and, in 2024, was sentenced to imprisonment on charges of “propaganda against the government.”
