Elimination of several Iran-linked militants in Lebanon

According to the National News Agency, Israeli counterterrorism forces infiltrated the outskirts of the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Ramyah in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon early Monday morning, February 16, planting explosives inside a house and detonating them, completely destroying the building.

In a related statement, the military of Israel said that over the past week, forces from the 91st Brigade targeted and eliminated three Iran-linked militants belonging to Hezbollah who were rebuilding the group’s infrastructure.

The Israeli army also stated that “brigade forces destroyed numerous buildings and engineering equipment used by Hezbollah to strengthen its operations in southern Lebanon.”

According to preliminary figures, since the ceasefire came into effect, more than 200 Hezbollah militants have been killed by Israeli forces.

The Israeli military added: “Israeli forces will continue their actions to eliminate any threat against the State of Israel.”
