Several unidentified stealth drones entered Iran’s airspace in the early hours of Sunday morning, a source who wants to remain anonymous has told AvaToday.

At the same time, IRGC’s missile tunnels in Salas-e Babajani, western Iran, and several missile platforms in the provinces of Hamedan and Kermanshah were destroyed.

Explosions were heard in several western Iranian cities and air defence systems were activated according to the locals. Reportedly, anti-aircraft shots were erratically and aimlessly fired without any aircrafts in sight, which are said to have left Iran’s airspace by then.

Residents of Ahvaz, capital of the country’s southwestern province of Khuzestan, also reported hearing explosions in the west of the city.

Flights were canceled for several hours in western Iran on Sunday morning following these incidents, passengers reported.

Iran has so far not shown any reaction to these events, although media affiliated with the IRGC have linked them to military exercises.
