Navid Khoshnegar, a 26-year-old Kurdish citizen from Izeh, was arrested on the morning of Saturday, 6 December 2025, while visiting the intelligence office of the city to follow up on his confiscated mobile phone and laptop.
According to Foad Choubin, a member of the Families Seeking Justice, the Ministry of Intelligence forces in Izeh had carried out an armed raid on Tuesday, 2 December 2025, at the clothing and accessories printing workshop owned by Navid Khoshnegar, and had confiscated all his electronic devices, including his phone and laptop.
Navid, who had gone to the intelligence office to retrieve his personal belongings, was arrested there and transferred to an unknown location.
As of the time of publication of this report, no information is available about the reasons for his arrest, possible charges, his condition, or his place of detention.
This young man from Izeh had previously been arrested on Thursday, 13 April 2023, during the anniversary ceremony of the late Hamed Salahshour, one of those killed in the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, and was released after five days.
