On the evening of June 7, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that it had launched ballistic missile strikes against several locations in Israel, including the Ramat David Airbase.

In response, the Israeli military stated that all missiles fired by Iran had been intercepted and destroyed.

In a statement released several hours after the attack, the Israeli Air Force said it had successfully detected, intercepted, and neutralized all incoming missiles launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the Israeli news website Ynet, an Israeli official reacted to the missile launch by warning that Iran should not assume Israel would overlook the attack.

The unnamed official emphasized that Israel's response would be firm and decisive, adding that Israel would not allow the Islamic Republic to create “new equations” or violate the country's sovereignty.

Meanwhile, Fox News correspondent Trey Yingst reported that he had spoken with President Donald Trump. According to Yingst, Trump told Fox News: “My message to Iran is that you have fired your missiles; that is enough. Return to the negotiating table and make a deal.”
